Standard Beverage is looking for dependable, experienced, results-driven and customer-focused delivery drivers for distribution to retail stores and restaurants across the state of Kansas.  We have opportunities in Lawrence and Wichita, as well as South-East and Western Kansas.  Our drivers are home nightly and enjoy 3-day weekends. Current Class A CDL is required for this job.

Role Description

Our delivery drivers run an established, local route, delivering product to retail stores and restaurants in the State of Kansas. Must possess a class A CDL . This is a VERY physical job. Work schedule is Tuesday through Friday and will very slightly based on holidays or business needs. We offer competitive pay with driver bonuses paid monthly, quarterly, and annually.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives heavy “straight” truck, PUP or automobile over established route.
  • Pads, stacks and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
  • Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck, electric pallet jack or dolly.
  • Rotates stock, lifts and stacks products inside customer premises.
  • Helps maintain or merchandise displays, shelves and cold-boxes.
  • Provides excellent customer service on a daily basis.
  • Collects proper payment (cash or check) for invoice at time of delivery.
  • Records damages, changes and discrepancies on invoices at time of delivery.
  • Meets or exceeds all productivity standards.
  • Interacts with members of the sales and merchandising teams.
  • Collects and returns empty boxes for repackaging of product.
  • Drives in a safe and lawful manner. Maintains an acceptable driving record.
  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.

 

Requirements

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    • Valid Commercial Drivers License- Class A

  • Language:

Role Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to become an integral part of our IT team. The Systems Analyst requires an individual with the capacity to decompose our current stack of applications, identify opportunities for improved user experience and efficiencies while working hand in hand with our users.
The ability to develop integration designs and documentation for technology solutions supported internally or by a third-party vendor is a must. Design documentation includes Scope, FSD’s, flowcharts, object modeling, and wireframing UI concepts. The candidate must be comfortable creating well-structured project plans, engaging with customers/vendors/consultants as needed and driving projects to completion on time and within budget. Must possess a high level of organization to streamline project tracking and creating organic efficiencies.

This role also requires an individual with a development background to bridge the gap between technology and business. Additionally, a very strong analytical skillset is imperative to develop a deep understanding of current and future technology investments; to drive innovation. Though development is not the primary focus of this role, we may need you to roll up your sleeves and develop scripts leveraging our middleware solution or extract data from our array of databases using SQL and ETL scripting.

Standard Beverage provides a data conduit to our users via Dimensional Insight’s Business Intelligence Solution, better known as Diver. The System Analyst must possess the ability to become the subject matter expert for designing data cubes/objects, understanding how to define and create impactful KPIs, and disseminate this information by generation vibrant reports, dashboards, and mobile design interfaces.

Lastly, this role will work closely with our Help Desk team; providing assistance troubleshooting issues and answering escalated questions.

• Lead meetings related to application focused discussions to review and gather information regarding gaps in business requirements, compile and breakdown those requirements, and determine approach to fulfill those requirements leveraging existing technology investments or pursuing new ones.

Role Description

Standard Beverage is looking for dependable, experienced, results-driven and customer-focused Line Haul drivers for our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center. Our Line Haul drivers enjoy static routes, are home daily, and have 3 day weekends. Current Class A CDL with Doubles and Triple endorsements is required for this job. Work schedule is Monday thru Thursday from approximately 8PM until 6AM, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. The Line Haul driver will transfer trailers from our distribution center in Lawrence to a depot in Wichita, Iola, Junction City, Dodge City or Hays, Kansas, and then will drop and hook and return back to the Lawrence distribution center. Must have doubles/triples endorsements and experience pulling doubles/triples to be considered.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull double or triple 28′ trailers over an established route.
  • Drop trailers at designated depots and hook empty trailers to return back to our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center the same day.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.
  • Utilize ELD (Electronic Logging Device) to log and track hours of service.
  • Drive in a safe manner.
  • Follow all state regulatory and D.O.T guidelines.

 

Requirements

Job Description

We are currently searching for team members to join our Receiving department in our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center. Candidates must have current forklift certification and a demonstrated history of forklift experience. The candidate must also have experience conducting inventory transactions with an RF gun, as well as experience using a WMS (AS400 preferred). The most important qualities we are looking for in a candidate is a team player who is dependable, has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. This position will work Monday thru Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving of all inbound shipments using a fork truck or slipper to unload pallets from trucks.
  • Confirm inbound shipments and reconcile shipments against BOL’s, PO’s and invoices.
  • Report discrepancies in BOL’s and PO’s.
  • Use an RF gun to process inventory transactions and movements.
  • Put away and consolidate inbound shipments into designated warehouse location.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on pallet racks and shelves.
  • Perform product rotation to ensure FIFO and product processes.
  • Uses computer to enter records.
  • Maintains a clean work environment.

 

Requirements

  • Must have relevant fork lift experience.
  • Must be able to report for and complete all assigned shifts.

Requirements
• High level of integrity, commitment, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the foregoing specified requirements may be considered for substitution.
• Strong persuasive presentations skills, including the ability to speak before large audiences both internally and externally.
• Background or experience in the beverage or restaurant/bar industry a plus.
• Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry is helpful.
• Physical exertion will be necessary to achieve desired levels of account management. The employee must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling kegs.
• Licenses, Age restrictions:
• Valid Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment in order to sell alcohol in the state of Kansas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with customer accounts via phone and email.
  • Input and provide reporting on pricing structures using various software systems and Excel for 40+ chain accounts.
  • Prepare and publish electronic pricing sheets for retailer use.
  • Complete ad-hoc requests for internal and external customers.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers and their accounts to ensure monthly pricing is accurate within various systems in a timely manner.

 

Requirements

  • Exceptional relationship and customer service skills utilizing phone and/or email.

Our night-shift employees enjoy a 4-day work week, Monday thru Thursday nights, with weekends off! Our night shift runs from approximately 5:00 pm to 4:00 am, but may end earlier or later depending on volume. The most important qualities we are looking for in candidates are team players who are energetic, dependable, have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.  As a loader, you are the last step in the critical production process of getting product to our customers. As part of the loading team, you will be responsible for loading the trucks and ensuring that product is secured for transport and trucks depart on-time. Below is a list of specific job functions you will be required to perform on a nightly basis.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pulling cases of beer, liquor or wine off of a conveyor system and floor loading them on to 22’ box trucks and 28’ PUP trailers.
  • Securely loading product in order to minimize damage
  • Ensure that the loaded walls of product are tight and secure
  • Each loading dock will be expected to maintain a loading route of 650 cases per hour
  • Operating an electric pallet jack for loading of full pallets onto trucks
  • Using load bars and pressure bars to secure loads
  • Loading full kegs of beer onto the back of trailers
  • Loading point of Sale items on the back of trailers as required
  • Operating electric dock levelers
  • Maintaining an clean and orderly assigned work area
  • Emptying trash as needed to keep work are clean of debris
  • Sweeping and mopping of floors at the end of your shift
  • Loading shag cases and mis-picks at the end of the truck
