Role Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to become an integral part of our IT team.  This role provides technical support to 400+ employees across varied functional roles and levels (sales, operations, and office support teams, etc.).  Our skilled IT team supports desktop hardware, operating systems, sales software and tools, office productivity software, security devices/software, printers, and mobile. Our IT team is streamlined allowing for opportunities to cross into multiple facets of IT, requiring a person that can span a wide breadth of IT knowledge.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer, evaluate and prioritize service requests received via Fresh Services ticketing system. Ensure timely resolution of user issues by assigning an appropriate priority and resolution goal
  • Evaluate and prioritize service requests received via help desk; response will vary between telephone, in-person and use of remote access
  • Responsible for onboarding all employees, including ensuring all software, licenses, and hardware is purchased and ready in advance of start date. May require travel to Lawrence and Wichita.
  • Support of Standard Beverage’s BI Solution. Reviewing build issues and directing users on how to properly access data and creating markers to save views.
  • Create technical documentation and training materials. Provide training sessions for business, which may include remote and/or classroom settings.
  • Analyze and correct issues using documented procedures and available tools as well as personal knowledge, skills and recommended solutions
  • Determine cause of hardware malfunctions such as hard drive, printer, cables or telephone by isolating performance issues. Escalate issues to the infrastructure team.
  • Troubleshoot, identify and resolve both PC and Apple iOS software application problems
  • Resolve printing and network connectivity issues
  • Contact software and hardware vendors (via voice or online systems) to research issues and determine and implement recommended solutions
  • Perform PC imaging for standardized deployments of business applications
  • Perform daily checks to verify system availability
  • Test and deploy new software, procedures, installation, conversion and upgrade activities
  • Brainstorm with team members to resolve more complex issues and escalate difficult issues to IT Director
  • Protects organization’s value and integrity by keeping ALL company and personnel information strictly confidential.

Other duties:

  • Participate in creation and maintenance of IT standards and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the key responsibilities for this position.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an IT Help Desk role
  • Experience in end-user support, help desk ticketing software, hardware/software upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting the following technology:
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Windows 10 (proficient)
    • Copiers and printers
    • Computer imaging, Desktop VPN’s, network shares, namespaces and mapped drives
  • Experience troubleshooting remote issues and supporting offsite users
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals

Role Description

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist for Standard Beverage Corporation (SBC) in Wichita, Kansas.  This position will support our outstanding team members, SBC’s most valuable asset. This Generalist will work with a team of dedicated human resource professionals in the areas of payroll, benefits administration, workers compensation, employee relations, and reporting in effort to maintain our culture of excellence.  This position reports directly to the Director of Partner Resources.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Process required documentation for new hires, employee changes, and terminations accurately and timely.
  • Be a daily contact for benefits questions from our team members.
  • Handle initial reporting of workers compensation claims.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external reporting such as OSHA, EEOC.
  • Assist in administering leave management including FMLA, worker’s compensation, STD and LTD.
  • Manage, compile and analyze data as required. Send accurate reports and communication to various groups of the organization.
  • Provide supporting information for any Human Resource related audits (benefits, compliance, etc)

    • Assure confidentiality and security of records and information.

Role Description

Our delivery drivers run an established, local route, delivering product to retail stores and restaurants in the State of Kansas. Must possess a class A CDL . This is a VERY physical job. Work schedule is Tuesday through Friday and will very slightly based on holidays or business needs. We offer competitive pay with driver bonuses paid monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives heavy “straight” truck, PUP or automobile over established route.
  • Pads, stacks and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.

Role Description

A Retail Specialist is responsible for ensuring assigned customer accounts are consumer ready; this entails stocking the store shelves and cold boxes/coolers with fresh products, by building displays to draw attention to our products, and by providing exceptional service to our retail clients. It’s a role that requires a great deal of organization, customer service and initiative.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain fresh products by stocking and rotating, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies.
  • Build displays and executes placement of signage and other merchandising items.
  • Ensure all Standard Beverage SKUs are priced appropriately and meet standards of visibility.
  • Keeps backroom and inventory areas clean and organized. Notifies manager of any product breakage in an account.
  • Walk the account for merchandising opportunities with Standard Beverage portfolio.
  • Complete the retail call and provides feedback to Sales Rep to ensure appropriate inventory levels and exceptional customer service in all assigned accounts.
  • Maintain a professional rapport and image with store personnel and customers.

Requirements

Role Description

We looking to hire an entry-level Staff Accountant with a positive, can-do attitude to join our Accounting team. You will perform an array of tasks, thus should be passionate about learning new processes quickly.  Our team strives to produce financial information timely and accurately, ultimately to increase the company’s overall position and ability to make solid business decisions.  Working under the direction of the Controller, this individual will be responsible for multiple tasks within the accounting department and will have the opportunity to learn and grow in their role while supporting a variety of accounting functions.

  • Assist with maintaining general ledger in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Participate in maintenance of subledger and related activity for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or Fixed Assets.
  • Gain insight into the preparation of journal entries and any related analysis as needed.
  • Assist accountants with completion of daily accounting activities, monthly close activities, bank reconciliations, and workpapers.
  • Train to become a key contact for Supplier and Customer Accounts Receivables.  Answer Supplier and Customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and recommend options to improve financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Achieved or in pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
  • Experience with coordination and effort necessary to manage multiple tasks and ad hoc situations which occur during month end close as you and the entire accounting teamwork towards a single close goal.
  • Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Excel experience (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Role Description

A Retail Specialist is responsible for ensuring assigned customer accounts are consumer ready; this entails stocking the store shelves and cold boxes/coolers with fresh products, by building displays to draw attention to our products, and by providing exceptional service to our retail clients. It’s a role that requires a great deal of organization, customer service and initiative.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain fresh products by stocking and rotating, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies.
  • Build displays and executes placement of signage and other merchandising items.
  • Ensure all Standard Beverage SKUs are priced appropriately and meet standards of visibility.
  • Keeps backroom and inventory areas clean and organized. Notifies manager of any product breakage in an account.
  • Walk the account for merchandising opportunities with Standard Beverage portfolio.
  • Complete the retail call and provides feedback to Sales Rep to ensure appropriate inventory levels and exceptional customer service in all assigned accounts.
  • Maintain a professional rapport and image with store personnel and customers.
  • Develop outstanding relationships with customers and co-workers while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Gain expertise and ability to be responsible for a sales route while a rep is on vacation.
  • Strive to continually overtake the competition on every level, individually and as a team with other members of the division/company.
  • Adhere to current route and make all scheduled calls.

 

Requirements

  • High level of integrity, commitment, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the foregoing specified requirements may be considered for substitution.
  • Strong persuasive presentations skills, including the ability to speak before large audiences both internally and externally.
  • Background or experience in the beverage or restaurant/bar industry a plus.
  • Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry is helpful.
  • Physical exertion will be necessary to achieve desired levels of account management. The employee must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling kegs.
  • Licenses, Age restrictions:
  • Valid Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment in order to sell alcohol in the state of Kansas.

Job Description

We currently have an open position in our Lenexa (Kansas City metropolitan area) office. This individual will support and design activities that will drive bottom-line growth to the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of analytics and consumer buying behaviors. This role will support all marketing activities in the wine segment of the business, including implementing strategy on pricing, programming, sales incentives, margin delivery, and inventory management to deliver bottom line results. The selected individual must be passionate and enthusiastic while embracing a true “roll up his/her sleeves” approach.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Analytics
    • Find opportunities driven by category/price point analysis.
    • Determine success of new items based on sales and margin.
    • Constantly drive to improve gross margin percentage, improving the bottom line results.
    • Grow market share using knowledge of competitor pricing.
  • Pricing
    • Develop price structures including price points, sale patterns and margin considerations.
    • Review and revise pricing to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  • Finance and Planning
    • Maintain accurate and detailed forecasts leveraging our purchasing system, with the ability to explain those forecasts to internal and external audiences.
    • Prepare for and participate in monthly review meetings with executive team.
  • Inventory
    • Set up new items – working with compliance and pricing team.
    • Work closely with the purchasing team and operations to maintain JIT inventory, resolve issues, and to act as an intermediary between the field and logistics.
    • Proactively work to manage inventory issues, namely aged inventory.
  • Internal and External Reporting
    • Maintain each supplier’s reporting plan.
    • Provide suppliers with regular depletion, distribution and expense tracking.
    • Ad hoc reporting for suppliers and other leadership team members.
    • Be proficient in the use of the following systems:
      • ASW or other similar operating system
      • Diver or other similar sales tracking tools
      • Program Advisor – calculate, design and implement incentive programs.

 

 

 

 

 

  • Performance Tracking
    • Work with suppliers to create incentive programs that drive desired behaviors while staying within budget.
    • Target incentives based on opportunities in individual retail accounts
    • Populate and track the progress and performance of incentive programs through Program Advisor and coordinate with Finance, Accounting and Payroll on payouts.
    • Assist with supplier relationships; occasional meetings with suppliers.
