Standard Beverage is looking for dependable, experienced, results-driven and customer-focused delivery drivers for distribution to retail stores and restaurants across the state of Kansas.  We have opportunities in Lawrence and Wichita, as well as South-East and Western Kansas.  Our drivers are home nightly and enjoy 3-day weekends. Current Class A CDL is required for this job.

Role Description

Our delivery drivers run an established, local route, delivering product to retail stores and restaurants in the State of Kansas. Must possess a class A CDL . This is a VERY physical job. Work schedule is Tuesday through Friday and will very slightly based on holidays or business needs. We offer competitive pay with driver bonuses paid monthly, quarterly, and annually.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives heavy “straight” truck, PUP or automobile over established route.
  • Pads, stacks and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
  • Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck, electric pallet jack or dolly.
  • Rotates stock, lifts and stacks products inside customer premises.
  • Helps maintain or merchandise displays, shelves and cold-boxes.
  • Provides excellent customer service on a daily basis.
  • Collects proper payment (cash or check) for invoice at time of delivery.
  • Records damages, changes and discrepancies on invoices at time of delivery.
  • Meets or exceeds all productivity standards.
  • Interacts with members of the sales and merchandising teams.
  • Collects and returns empty boxes for repackaging of product.
  • Drives in a safe and lawful manner. Maintains an acceptable driving record.
  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.

 

Requirements

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    • Valid Commercial Drivers License- Class A
    • Medical Examiner’s Certificate – As required by the Department of Transportation
    • Acceptable Motor Vehicle record (MVR)

 

  • Language:
    • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Mathematical Skills:
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two and three-digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Physical Demands:
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk/ use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Role Description

Standard Beverage is looking for dependable, experienced, results-driven and customer-focused Line Haul drivers for our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center. Our Line Haul drivers enjoy static routes, are home daily, and have 3 day weekends. Current Class A CDL with Doubles and Triple endorsements is required for this job. Work schedule is Monday thru Thursday from approximately 8PM until 6AM, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. The Line Haul driver will transfer trailers from our distribution center in Lawrence to a depot in Wichita, Iola, Junction City, Dodge City or Hays, Kansas, and then will drop and hook and return back to the Lawrence distribution center. Must have doubles/triples endorsements and experience pulling doubles/triples to be considered.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull double or triple 28′ trailers over an established route.
  • Drop trailers at designated depots and hook empty trailers to return back to our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center the same day.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.
  • Utilize ELD (Electronic Logging Device) to log and track hours of service.
  • Drive in a safe manner.
  • Follow all state regulatory and D.O.T guidelines.

 

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Role Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to become an integral part of our IT team.  This role provides technical support to 200+ talented employees across varied functional roles and levels (sales, operations, and office support teams, etc.).  Our skilled IT team supports desktop hardware, operating systems, sales software and tools, office productivity software, security devices/software, printers, and mobile. Our IT team is streamlined allowing for opportunities to cross into multiple facets of IT, requiring a person that can span a wide breadth of IT knowledge.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Answer, evaluate and prioritize service requests received via the IT Helpdesk ticketing system. Ensure timely resolution of user issues by assigning an appropriate priority and resolution goal
  • Evaluate and prioritize service requests received via help desk; response will vary between telephone, in-person and use of remote access
  • Analyze and correct issues using documented procedures and available tools as well as personal knowledge, skills and recommended solutions
  • Determine cause of hardware malfunctions such as hard drive, printer, cables or telephone by isolating performance issues
  • Troubleshoot, identify and resolve both PC and Apple iOS software application problems
  • Resolve printing and network connectivity issues
  • Contact software and hardware vendors (via voice or online systems) to research issues and determine and implement recommended solutions
  • Perform PC imaging for standardized deployments of business applications
  • Perform daily checks to verify system availability
  • Test and deploy new software, procedures, installation, conversion and upgrade activities
  • Brainstorm with team members to resolve more complex issues and escalate difficult issues to IT Director
  • Protects organization’s value and integrity by keeping ALL company and personnel information strictly confidential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the key responsibilities for this position.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an IT Help Desk role
  • Experience in end-user support, help desk ticketing software, hardware/software upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting the following technology:
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Windows 7/10 (proficient)
    • Copiers and printers
    • VOIP/PBX systems (updating user information), computer imaging, Desktop VPN’s, network shares, namespaces and mapped drives
  • Experience troubleshooting remote issues and supporting offsite users
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals

Role Description

A Retail Specialist is responsible for ensuring assigned customer accounts are consumer ready; this entails stocking the store shelves and cold boxes/coolers with fresh products, by building displays to draw attention to our products, and by providing exceptional service to our retail clients. It’s a role that requires a great deal of organization, customer service and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain fresh products by stocking and rotating, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, beer caves and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies.
Build displays and executes placement of signage and other merchandising items.
Ensure all Standard Beverage SKUs are priced appropriately and meet standards of visibility.
Keeps backroom and inventory areas clean and organized. Notifies manager of any product breakage in an account.
Walk the account for merchandising opportunities with Standard Beverage portfolio.
Complete the retail call and provides feedback to Sales Rep to ensure appropriate inventory levels and exceptional customer service in all assigned accounts.
Maintain a professional rapport and image with store personnel and customers.
Develop outstanding relationships with customers and co-workers while delivering exceptional customer service.
Gain expertise and ability to be responsible for a sales route while a rep is on vacation.
Strive to continually overtake the competition on every level, individually and as a team with other members of the division/company.
Adhere to current route and make all scheduled calls.

Requirements

High level of integrity, commitment, and possess a strong work ethic.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the foregoing specified requirements may be considered for substitution.
Strong persuasive presentations skills, including the ability to speak before large audiences both internally and externally.
Background or experience in the beverage or restaurant/bar industry a plus.
Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry, including knowledge of beer, beer terms, and beer production process techniques helpful.
Passion for beer with the ability to continuously learn new brands and represent effectively to customers.

Role Description

We are a small but dedicated department that supports our sales representatives with brand specific printed materials. Due to the number of products and region that Standard Beverage distributes our workload is heavy and dynamic.  We produce a wide breadth of materials and no production day is the same. We move quickly and it’s the goal of the department to serve our sales reps in the most efficient and highest quality possible.

 

We are currently looking for a Print Production lead operator for our graphics department. This position would involve preparing and ripping graphic via Onyx, flexi-cut, and command workstation front end systems for our printing and plotting devices. We have a suite of Mutoh large format roll to roll eco solvent printers, a vinyl plotter, and a xerox Versant 180 digital printer.   Other duties would include finishing activities including large format mounting, trimming, installing grommets, hot and cold laminating on a large format and small format laminating systems, cutting printed paper stacks via manual guillotine cutter, operating various manual finishing equipment, and preparing projects for delivery according to Standard Beverage Best practices.

 

Position also will be responsible for ordering and maintaining all ink and roll media inventory, ensuring that printers are well maintained via weekly scheduled maintenance intervals, solving technical issues that become present during printing operations.

 

This position is an integral component of the graphics team. You will be encouraged to bring forth any ideas that you feel might benefit the department and improve our efficiencies.
